What a difference a few weeks make. I'm 16 weeks now and i'm starting to feel pregnant. Don't really feel Jr yet but it is still a bit early but i feel round lol. Sleeping isn't going very well because i just can't get comfortable. I haven't bought any maternity clothes yet but i plan to after my appt on thursday. Hard to believe i only have a little over 5 months left. I thought this pregnancy would take forever but it's speeding up now that i'm in the 2nd trimester.
Erik is starting to have second thoughts about which hospital I decide to deliver at.Unlike C'ton or Fredericton, we have a choice. Our original choice is Sturgeon hospital, just down the road from where we both work. Private rooms, smaller teaching hospital, friendly staff and clean.Second choice is the Royal Alex, bigger, not as clean, busy, and hit or miss on the staff from what i hear. They also have a Nicu and neonatal unit which Sturgeon does not. So if i have a difficult 3rd trimester, go into labour before 36 weeks or problems are found before delivery I will automatically go to the RA.
I think Erik is scared that if something were to happen to me or baby during delivery, we would need to be transferred to the RA which could take up to 40 minutes. If we decide to go to the RA then there's no waiting. So while i would prefer Sturgeon, I'm thinking of going to the RA just for peace of mind. Then we need to decide on circumcision if Jr turns out to be a boy.
Do the decisions ever stop????? Oh yeah, a name too!

I'd go to RA!! And if it's a boy, don't circumsize. I didn't do it to Kiki and he's fine.
And if it's a girl call her Annik
LOL i'll pass the name suggestion on to Erik. Circumcision was a source of stress with my first pregnancy, i'm not stressing about it so much now because i know more but still hard to decide what to do. Plus it's like $400 to get it done out here.
If you're looking for opinions, I say don't circumsize.
