woooo, more excitement!!

Sooooo sunday I wasn't doing a whole lot and felt okay during the day. After I ate supper though, I felt really odd. I was uncomfortable and I had some mild cramping but really nothing concrete. Went to bed and had a super crappy night of sleep and then the next morning I woke up still feeling crampy and off. I laid down and it didn't go away so I walked around and the cramps still didn't go away. I called Erik to come home because the cramps were getting a bit worse and I really didn't know if it was possible early labour.

Erik gets home within 15 minutes and we're at the hospital by 10. After waiting for a bit, I get sent to the assessing room and put on the monitors. There's definitely activity going on but not really contractions. I give a urine sample, it gets sent away and then comes back as too concentrated to be able to tell what's in it. So I give another sample and it's obvious I have blood in my urine which indicates kidney problems or a bad UTI. Lab sends it back as being too concentrated once again. So because of the blood in urine and the lower cramping, I get admitted and told I will have yet another U/S, this time for my kidneys and bladder.

My doc happens to be away this week so one of his office partners comes to see me on tuesday morning before I go for my U/S, tells me they should know more after it's done and blah blah blah.I'm positive it's not kidney related since I've had no kidney pain and trust me, I would know. I've had a UTI the whole pg and it's just not getting better. By tuesday afternoon I'm climbing the walls from boredom and I have a roommate from hell. I would seriously have loved to deck her with her clumpy shoes but I was afraid she'd fart and burp on me, it was THAT bad.

Wednesday morning, I finally find out that my U/S was clear, and doc said since everything has cleared up, I am good to go. I see my reg doc on tuesday so I'll know more then I'm sure. So another hospital stay very similar to when I was pg with Caryn. My body apparently doesn't like to bake babies, so luckily this is the last one. I was given an internal check though on monday and while I wasn't dilated anymore, my cervix was soft and I noticed that I was losing quite a few chunks of mucous so my body is definitely getting itself ready. When the big day will happen though, is anyone's guess!
