my thursday night!

So I went to work thursday night as usual and noticed that my BH's were starting to feel really uncomfortable. I got to my office and sat down and they started to feel better so okay i thought. I got up a little later and my belly started to hurt again and it kept on like that for a while. Around 9ish i noticed that my Bh's were still quite regular and hurting a bit even when sitting down so now at this point it had been 3 hours with continuous "contractions". So i called hubby and let him know to meet me at the hospital and a manager offere t drive me so i took him up on it.

We get in and i get monitored and sure enough i am having mild contractions. they didn't really hurt but they were uncomfortable and not getting better. Nurses were awesome that night, i totally love them and really hope i can deliver at that hospital. Got an IV put in and sucked down the first bag and then got a second bag, but that one lasted all night. I was given a vag exam and was told my cervix was a little too open for their liking so that sealed the deal i was staying overnight.

Contractions stopped a few hours after going in and i got some sleep around 5 am finally. I had an U/S scheduled for 12:30 to check my cervix and all was well there. I was given a steroid shot just in case my body decides to act up again and Junior gets here earlier than he's supposed to be. So that was the beginning of me week's end!!
